SWISS:
- Members of (Peko) Staff Commission
- Shift delegate appointed
Dear colleagues
Workers participation and workplace representation to improve conditions of employment are a genuine opportunity for members of SEV-GATA. Taking part in and being part of important organs is crucial for this participation.
Members of Staff Commission (Peko)
SEV-GATA proudly presents the following nominations for the six seats in the staff commission (Peko):
Electoral district 1 (one Peko-seat): Michael Rangott (previous)
Electoral district 2 (two Peko-seats): Beat Aeschbacher (previous), Rolf Stamm (new)
Electoral district 3 (three Peko-seats): unfortunately SEV-GATA has not received any nominations
Should an election campaign be necessary our three candidates count on the full support of our members to be elected. Next week the SEV-GATA committee will decide on a recommendation for electoral district 3 where we have no proper candidates. You will soon receive information on the election procedure through the election commission.
Many thanks to all members running for the commission and good luck for your possible election.
Shift delegate appointed
Each shift could appoint one delegate and one substitute to participate in the team to lay down rules for shift workers (cp. Final Agreement to the New CLA, point 4). The following colleagues were announced:
Jeff Kast, substituted by Sven Schäfle, Martin Schneider, Michael Schneider
Nils Kautzsch
Markus Mitteldorf, substituted by Hans-Rudolf Schuler
Rolf Stamm, substituted by Pascal Meier
Bert Füller
Andreas Breker
Several shifts have not made any announcements. Union secretary Regula Bieri will invite delegates and substitutes for a first meeting as soon as Swiss submitted proposals and a time schedule.
Thanks to all groups who have elected and communicated their delegates and of course to all those who are willing to take on this task.
Shortly, the strength of the unions at Swiss will be re-assessed according to the current number of members. This is relevant for the influence and the significance of each union. Hence, join our union now.
The 2014 member acquisition campaign makes it even more interesting to promote membership amongst your colleagues: You’ll find further information on www.sev-online.ch and more specifically about SEV-GATA and its key activities on www.sev-gata.ch.
Getting involved in the union is worthwhile in every respect. Thank you for your confidence and your valuable sense of commitment!
Kind regards
