Short time work going on at LTSW
Swiss CLA discussed
Swiss-management visiting SEV
Hot summer
Dear member
In the middle of summer you are getting news from your union SEV-GATA.
Short time work going on at LTSW
Our colleagues at LTSW are still working short time. SEV-GATA expects a recovery in the market and a more long-term co-operation between Swiss and LTSW protected by contract.
Swiss CLA discussed
In the meantime further talks regarding Swiss CLA adjustments took place. SEV-GATA committee supports a whole package of claims, focussing on a sustainable development of wages and bonuses. This is also what we are trying to reach at the wage negotiations next autumn.
Swiss management visiting SEV
6 July 2010 we had the opportunity of welcoming Harry Hohmeister accompanied by Christian Amman at the SEV union head office in Berne. You can find a photo of this positive conversation on our website www.sev-gata.ch / http://www.sev-gata.ch/downloads/1279874509_Swiss%20&%20SEV%20Juni%202010.JPG. Now a new Swiss model aircraft type A320-214 is decorating the reception at SEV.
Despite different roles there are a lot of overlapping requests in aviation policy, to which the SEV, experienced in lobbyism, will attach more and more importance in federal Berne in future.
Hot summer
We have been experiencing temperatures in Switzerland over a longer period of time now, we normally know from our holidays only. Definitely your employers will do everything possible to reduce the heat and to supply plenty of fluids to ensure safe working.
Hopefully you’ll get a few summer days off! After the confusions caused by volcano and crisis it’s high time that you get a few personal days of rest beside tolerable working conditions …and perhaps talking about the union with your fellow workers may lead to a few new members: the basis for successful wage talks and 50 SFR bonus for you!
With committed regards
SEV-GATA, your union of the aviation industry!
